On the island of Mallorca you can enjoy numerous interesting tourist alternatives such as: visiting the caves of Porto Cristo; train and boat trips on the north coast of the island - Soller-Sa Calobra; boat trips along the west coast - Porto Cristo-Porto Colom-Cala D´Or- Porto Petro; guided tour of the city of Palma de Mallorca (Cathedral, Bellver castle, old town, Almudaina palace, La Lonja, etc...); tourist route in the Tramuntana mountains - Valldemossa-Deià-Soller; trip to the La Granja farm museum in Esporles or Es Calderers in Sant Joan; walk around the Carthusian monastery and palace of King Sancho in Valldemossa. You can also participate in special events such as the dinner and show in Son Amar or the Mallorca Casino; enjoy the aquatic installations of Aquacity or visit the installations of Marineland-Mallorca; stroll around the sophisticated marinas and yachting ports of Cala D´or, Puerto Portals, Marina de Alcúdia; visit picturesque maritime ports such as that of Andratx, Puerto de Sóller, Porto Petro, Porto Colom. If you prefer artistic and cultural themes, you can visit the Es Baluard museum in Palma or the foundations of contemporary Spanish artists: the Gran Hotel-La Caixa in Palma, J.Coll Bardolet in Valldemossa and Joan Miró, also in Palma.

Near the hotel you can walk around the most beautiful natural, closed on the island, Porto Colom, from where you can also catch a boat for sea trips around the surrounding area. Other maritime enclaves nearby are the ports of Porto Cristo and Porto Petro, the tourist centre of Cala D´or with its lovely yacht club, and the coves of Cala Estreta, Cala Sa Nau, Cala Brafi. In a more relaxed tone, but nevertheless highly recommendable, are the unspoilt beaches of Es Trenc and Es Carbó, accessible from Colonia de Sant Jordi. Inland the villages of Felanitx, Santanyí, Campos and Manacor await you for strolls through their Sunday markets or popular festivities. There are spectacular views to be had from the top of the mountain of San Salvador, where the monastery of the same name is located.
